Everything Bagel Dip!

Here’s a recipe that’s become a favorite of Susan’s family, from Emilybites.com.

Emily has a cooking blog that features “lightened” recipes, complete with Weight Watcher values but no loss of flavor. I am a fan! Her “Everything Cream Cheese Dip” (https://emilybites.com/2022/09/everything-cream-cheese-dip.html) is bursting with flavor, and when I tasted it, I couldn’t tell it was lower in fat and more nutritious! Emily says it only has 5 ingredients and takes 5 minutes to prepare! Way to go, Emily, and thank you, Susan, for sharing Emily’s great recipe with us!

Everything Dip
(Probably enough for 8; I’d say for 10, but it’s awfully good . . . )

In a mixing bowl, combine:
8 oz. plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
8 oz. whipped cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning (I didn’t even know it existed!)
Stir together in a bowl, top with another 1/2 tablespoon of Everything Bagel Seasoning, cover and store in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it. You can serve it immediately, but it’s probably at its best if you let the flavors meld for a couple of hours and add the last 1/2 tablespoon of Everything Seasoning just as you’re serving it up.

It can be used with all your favorite veggies or carby treats. Susan used broccoli florets, carrots, and pita slices, and that was plenty for our party! If you’re really into low calories, then cucumber slices, celery, bell peppers, and radishes are other healthy options.

P.S.—Emily has lots of tips for how to make low fat foods, so if you’re trying to lose weight or on the Weight Watcher’s Diet, I recommend your checking out her blog!
