Just a couple of weeks ago (April 29, 2015), Jonathan Cahn, who’s a New York Times best-selling author, spoke from the heart of the U.S. capitol building and gave a 6-minute address that was so compelling it brought me to tears as he succinctly traced the history of our country and the direction it’s headed, short of a radical correction. I wish everybody would take a few minutes and listen. If you don’t have much time…how about while you’re washing up the dishes or commuting to work?
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
(Notice this verse doesn’t say we have to go out and campaign against others who are being disobedient. The focus is on our personal humility and holiness, and then praying that God will forgive and work a miracle of healing for our nations.)
