(I took all the pictures except the one of the 1,000 standing statues of the Senju Kannon inside Sanjūsangen-dō. We were asked not to take pictures of these particular deities, which I respected. That one picture was taken from Wiki and is public domain.)

    And, oh my, if only they could see past their stone, lifeless idols, to the Living God of the universe!!! To be intimate with the One who could live inside them and love them, and not a stone that can never even speak!!
